Rooted in the territory that binds Béarn to the Basque Country, where the flysch accumulates the pages of its history in the hollow of the earth, beneath the skins of green and woolly hills, an underground world sings an old story. It is an old lullaby, hummed thousands of times, that tells of love and tenderness, in the hollow of a bed so deep that the king’s horses can drink from it together. At the edge of this bed that slides upon the water, from one world to another, columns of porcelain cling, guardians of the secrets of the earth’s womb.
An ash wood bed, carved by Joerg Koziol, surrounded by four porcelain columns created by Johanna Meyer, combined with collected stones, and coated with ash enamel. A layer of wool and quilted vintage fabric crafted by Martin Bady.
