This piece is part of a series of sculptures created in parallel with a study of the body, its movements, and its composition. Designed by alternating geometric modeling with the study of muscle tissue, Body Fragment #3 was conceived as a reliquary for memories, emotions, and the body’s recollections. Its creation required 300 slats, assembled one by one by hand.

Technique: Hand-cutting and preparing each slat individually, bending, knotting
