Designed in the 1950s, this bench features a hand-turned beechwood frame and a seat and backrest made of abaca rope, entirely hand-woven. Between the 1940s and 1960s, Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet designed a whole range of furniture and accessories in a rustic style, using simple, basic materials that they adorned with their signature touch: rope and woven hemp. In very good condition, with some signs of wear (see photos).
